Caves in Ogliastra
The heart of this land never ceases to surprise.
In addition to its breathtaking coastline and mountain landscapes, the territory of Ogliastra hides an underground world of rare beauty: its caves.

Less well known than other attractions, the beauty of the Ogliastra Caves attracts visitors and cavers from all over the world in ever-increasing numbers
Be amazed by Ogliastra's caves
Among the most impressive of the many caves, we suggest a visit to the Taquisara Cave in Gairo Taquisara, of the Su Marmuri Cave of Ulassai, considered among the most imposing in Europe thanks to its kilometre length and 35-metre height, and the Fig Cave in the Gulf of Orosei.
Tours to discover the mysterious tunnels of a land millions of years old, where you can admire wonderful concretions: stalactites e stalagmites which join together to form imposing columns, moving from flows to cannulae until the aragonites and reaching the very fine eccentrics that will lead us to the very rare mountain milk in the Taquisara Cave. You can also walk in the fossil bed of an ancient river underground and penetrate the mysterious and fascinating world of the Fig Cave in whose siphons connected to the sea hid The Monk Seal.
